Most PLA
filaments start to deform at 40-45º C. On a sunny day,
depending on the
outdoor temperature, A car cabin may heat
up to 60º C. So in most cases,
PLA prints will melt in a car unleess annealed at 90ºC or 194ºF. - 110ºC or 230ºF
The material will distort and will need to be printed by 5% in x and 3% in y.
The left-right (horizontal) direction is commonly called X. The up-down (vertical ) direction is commonly called Y.
