Conventional gas water heaters typically have EF numbers ranging from 0.5 to 0.7, while electric water heaters can have EF numbers higher than 0.9.
Most solar panels are between 15% and 20% efficient, with outliers on either side. High-quality solar panels can exceed 22% efficiency in some cases (and almost reach 23%!), but the majority of photovoltaic panels available are not above 20% efficiency.

John Bedini demonstrates how to make an Alum Battery, using Alum Sulfate as the electrolyte instead of Sulfuric Acid.
He takes a useless 12v Lead Acid Car Battery and converts it to an Alum Battery.
The sulfated lead plates clean themselves, and the battery restores itself, using Alum as the electrolyte, instead of Sulfuric Acid.

The advantages of the alum battery are many:
