I ran the unit up on pre recorded tapes and it plays optimally.
I recorded 1000 Hz test tones on both tracks and played them back. No audible warble or dropouts.
It handles tape quite well. FFwds FRwd both work well at least with the medium grade tape and pre recorded tape I tested it with.


The patina is superior for this vintage of unit. Front on it is quite presentable. Lid has what I consider better than normal patina for the vintage.
Plastics are clear.

The unit had suffered some rust on the back  at some point and some paint was applied to control it.

The bottom got something on it at some time.
