Under .55 lbs or 250g there is  no need for registration which is ~$5 which is transferrable to other drones.
No need for license (~$137 for testing) if no Commercial use which includes shooting your own pictures to promote your business or to promote goodwill and your stay under
400'. No flying over crowds and there are a host of other issues that require your to read up on the rules at the FAA's drone site.
