Imac Crashing???? Contact Support this info by shopping my Stores
There are a multitude of ways an Imac may start crashing.
After running zapping the PRAM, diagnostics, cleaning, replacing the
OS, power supply, battery... I then ran into article that
mentioned disabling the wifi and ir sensor.
Disabling the wifi did nothing for me.
I then rebooted the computer while hold my thumb over the infrared
sensor and voila no crash during boot or shortly there after as was
normally the case.
The computer has now been running flawlessly for a day since I turned off the infrared sensor under the security settings.
I suspect that the infrared was picking up stray signals in my
environment. It could be the dimmable LED lighting. Not certain.
