Thursday evening ponderings.... Seeds for transformation??? On my extended walk about tonight I was thinking about the horrible division in this country. It came to me that perhaps we can start to heal that wound through finding a non-partisan common place to coordinate mourning, contribute various resources, champion the human decency regarding those that have given without personal regard and those that have most unfortunately paid ultimately as a result of the pandemic. Support for families, scholarships, legal and financial help, mortgage relief, grief counseling... In these times a virtual place would be a good start and I think it should also ultimately be associated with physical places. As a for instance, in Japan after the earthquake & tsunami , they established a telephone booth like kIosk for people to vent their feelings at a seemingly remote destination. It has become a place of pilgrimage. I am certain there are many among our underutilized creatively gifted that could contribute much to the design of a potentially most trans-formative experience that could redirect our ailing society towards a better life experience for all. Peace and Love...
