Great choice. I have several turntables of different types, and I reckon this model is a winner. BTW - the supplied cartridge is fantastic, AT-VM95E - totally fine for listening, and you can upgrade this cart very easily by swapping the stylus. the AT-VM range of stylus profiles go from cheap conical to Microline and Shibata! I have the Shibata and it is amazing, almost as good as my Moving Coil cart I have costing many times more. A no brainer upgrade for later up the track. Speaker wise, I'd pair it with some of the better Edifier speakers.. they are self powered so it is literally plug and play.
