The VDO sender is supposed to be
10-180 ohms for a 0-5 BAR gauge.
The gauge should read 1 bar at 29.6 ohms
and zero bar at 10 ohms. If you truly have zero oil pressure and get 18.8 ohms, the sender is bad.
The electronic one are problematic
14.5 psi: 29.6 ohms - 50 ohmns
73 psi: 10 ohms
